    That was the plan at Penn State but Joe Paterno's son was also older than dirt by the time Jopa was fired.

    Joe's son wasn't that old, but the Penn St fans couldn't get rid of him fast enough. Most thought he didn't belong on the sideline.

    Wasn't he about 60? If the scandal with Sandusky hadn't happened Joe wouldn't have been fired when he was.
