Good question, one that I was thinking about this morning as well. I know if he was an LSU coach they would be looking for his head. When one looks at a comparison of these 3 coaches Miles, Saban, and Meyer the difference in their SEC wins is razor thin in their SEC careers. Meyer 6 yrs in the SEC 6 SEC wins per yr. 3 -10+ win seasons 2 MNC's Saban 9 yrs in the SEC 5.6 SEC wins per yr. 4 - 10+ win seasons, 5th pending 2 MNC's Miles 6 yrs in the SEC 5.3 SEC wins per yr. 4 - 10+ win seasons. 1 MNC Yet 2 of these coaches are considered the best in all of college football, and 1 is not.

Maybe the reason is this. Meyer has two BCS NCs. Saban as two BCS NCs and an undefeated season. It's possible that folks look at the above and conclude that the above two coaches are superior to Coach Miles.
