One thing we all want, is to NEVER have that kind of showing again!

Not sure about the rest of the Tiger Nation, but I have finally got the Johnny Cash version of "Hurt" out of my head.

I say give stud another shot, but let him and krags design the offense. If miles is so hell bent on having a part of the offense let him deal with the o line and O line only.

He was doing a lot of hands-on coaching in the Arkansas game. He worked, during every TV timeout, with the OL and TE's.

cwatsn - that is not what I am saying. But I can tell this Mett has the pedigree to sling the pigskin. If we don't open up the offense next year and use the weapons we have at the skill positions than the OC should go. And if the following year the same thing happens and no offensive juggernaut with "Mett, Rivers & Kiel" then guess what it ain't the OC it's the HC.

Look everyone likes to say when someone gets fired or leaves they are just sore about leaving and have axes to grind. That probably is very true on all accounts but that does not mean what they are saying ISN'T THE TRUTH. Most of the time it is the truth. What Crowton said in interviews after he left. That the LSU offense was not his offense and had not been his offense for 2 years. If you look at the offense, I believe that statement. That means CLM get your f*cking hands off the offense because obviously you don't know what you are doing, the proof is in the stats, not the win/loss column because you have to take into account the defensive stats also in that column. Our offensive numbers "especially in the passing game" have been for sh*t. And our coaches have blamed it on the poor QB's passing performances. Well that will not be the case with the 3 we have in the stable now all 3 can sling it so this crap can't happen ANYMORE.

    question

Who is the coach . All plays all players who get in a game , go through the HEAD COACH . The HEAD COACH is the only one who has the right to inset a player or to tell a player to take a seat on the bench The O line needs the short 5 to 10 yard passes to keep 8 and 9 defenders off the line .That QB was on the bench , after JJ came in the game in the 1st game we have been a one man show . JJ well you JJ ers got what you wanted , so stop crying . It was your style of football LSU played in the BCSTITLE GAME . We lost with that style . Or lack of style at QB

How do we know Stud is a terrible OC when none of us have any idea what his role actually is.

Without our defense this year, we would have been 8-4 at best. We have waaaaay too much talent on the offensive side of the ball to be this mediocre. There will come a time when LSU's OFFENSE will have to step up and win some games. If you recall, without the plays of honey badger on defense and special teams, we would have gotten beat by Arkansas and Georgia. Alabama would have rolled 50 on us in the national championship if it weren't for the play of our defense. Les needs to hire a true OC with a track record. No fill-in's! A true OC that can manage a game and one that can MAKE ADJUSTMENTS if something isn't working. The OC is payed well to do his job, please let him do it!!

Kal I think that's taking the easy way out. This is the way I see it and I know this won't be popular. Since Jimbo Fisher left, I think that Les Miles is the offensive coordinator. I think he formulates the gameplan, he creates the plays, and he gives his "play caller" a sheet from game to game with a set of plays formulated for a certain opponent approved by Les. Then the "play caller" calls a play, and Les on the sideline approves or vetoes. I actually think Stud was trying to change it up at the end and Miles wouldn't do it, which is why we kept taking the play clock down to 1.

So Les recruited the best JUCO player in the country and a 5* QB just so he can make them hand the ball off 70% of the time out of a half-dozen plays? Not buying it.
