Got word he would play before the game. Still him at 80% is better than most at 100. In a boot after moo st, out of boot later in the week. Still did a great job yesterday.
I can see that viewpoint given Landry's injury, and what FLAs defensive strengths were, etc. After 5 games of our offense being so balanced, unpredictable, and efficient, the strategy here seemed like it had CLMs fingerprints all over it, and that it bothered me. I felt like this game and the Auburn game ended up being closer than they really needed to be. That's my opinion. I'm glad the board for the most part has a positive tone about this game. Again, I am not unappreciative of the win or the effort, just felt we could have been more balanced, and that if we had been, the game would have been out of reach earlier. I also was unaware of the how hot it was there in the stadium. I started watching the game right at the time of our first TD and must of missed comments about that.
Though nervous at times during the game, I am not concerned about CLM's fingerprints all over it. Felt like the offense was in control and confident in handling the Florida D. The more balanced attack was refreshing, and in retrospect the right approach in the control the game. Of course, this worked thanks to the LSU D coming thru. I had the chance in getting a couple of good 40 yd seats 1/3 up from the field, but on the east side. Decided not to as I don't think I can enjoy the game with the sun in your face the hot humid afternoon.
