Les Miles press conference at 3 CST on Thursday

Bad coaching by Les Miles is one way to lose recruits.

But so is a out of line fan base. Ricky Jefferson is gone for what its worth.

I suppose it was inappropriate for the media to ask President Bush questions right after two airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center on the morning of 9/11. I mean, the president was at that school to read books to kids, for crying out loud, not to discuss terrorism.

 

It is, but Miles was out-coached in one game this season, as was Saban. Other coaches were out-coached more times. Somehow, even the cellar dwellers get recruits. I'm sure we'll be fine.

We'd be better off if some of our raving fanbase would temper their responses to that horrible game on Monday night. It is what it is.

But it's not the end of the world.

 

President Bush left the school children to answer the questions. Obviously, in front of them wasn't the appropriate place to discuss the attacks.

Of course, there were those in the media who picked on Bush for not jumping up and addressing the attacks in front of the kiddos.

Oh, and it's nice to see you back after a loss. Where were you during the historic 13-0 run?

Ok well I guess I will just join the frenzy then. What am I thinking taking up for Les Miles? Man I was so stupid.

I mean what did he do right? These two guys are 1st and 2nd round picks but Mile's didn't coach them up did he? I mean they came to LSU at TOTALLY DIFFERENT positions but it was all dumb luck that they achieved what the did.

And what a horrible job of coaching! I mean we ONLY beat the winners of the:
ROSE BOWL
ORANGE BOWL
COTTON BOWL
CHICK FIL A BOWL
GATOR BOWL
MUSIC CITY BOWL
and the BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WINNER

And with these STELLAR QB's we had?? We should have won 24 games even though we only played 14. How sad.

How horrible was that huh? This guy Les is obviously going to ruin LSU. We better get this fixed soon!! :dis::insane::dis::rolleye33:

 

You are failing to see a HUGE disconnect between these two VERY different situations. Please don't be part of an out of line fan base.

 

I am huge Miles fan. But I could not be more dumbfounded with such a coaching performance with so much at stake. Which is why I resort to crazy ESPN conspiracies.

 

Color me surprised.
