Reading most of these comments I sure am glad none of you have the hiring and firing abilities. A man with the record that Miles has isn't doing it off the cuff. You were singing his praises after the SECCG but now he is a buffoon again? The coaching staff as a whole messed up. The players were flat. Bottom line Alabama was emotionally and physically superior. They had the utmost motivation...revenge. That said we went undefeated in the regular season, in the SEC no less. Something that hadn't happened for us in over 50 years. If you think this is all a fluke I'll point out the rest of the FBS that were on the outside looking in and a coach who has a better 7 year record than ANY of them. If Miles is to blame for one game then he gets credit for the rest of his tenure at LSU. It's moronic to base the man's career at LSU on one game. Micheal Jordan goes to the free throw line in Game 7, down by 1 and misses both of them. You fire him...yeah. That's it...
Maybe some were .. I wasn't. I was cussing him for keeping JJ in then as well. In fact, I was giving the series by series update of 3-outs. But, then, I've also never been on the fire CLM bandwagon either.
I think we would be better offensively if he actually stuck to his primary responsibilities and didn't get involved in the offense so much.
