    LSU Sports says "Les Miles will wrap up 2011 and preview the off-season in a 3 p.m. CT press conference. Watch live (Geaux Zone):"

    This should be a full blown Q&A press conference. Doesn't look like there will be free Geaux Zone audio like some press conferences, but 104.5 ESPN Baton Rouge said about an hour ago they would cover it live.     I have a feeling some tough questions will be asked, but what we'll get besides typical coach speak answers remains to be seen.

    Q: Les wtf happened on the 9th.

    A: Well, I can tell you this team had a want to win. We played a quality opponent, and the desire to play all three phases, offense, defense, specials teams, was definitely something we intended to do.

    This ought to be painful.

    As pissed off as that game made me, I've really come to like Les Miles the man. I'd like answers as much as anyone but I take no joy in seeing the man on the hot seat.

    Classic this is exactly how it will go.
    Lots of "we finished 2nd" and "Had the want" and "poise"

    I hate to dissapoint but if anyoen thinks we will get any closure on the 9th and why Lee never saw a snap. I will answer this for you

    "We considered Lee, but felt at the time Jordan was better to elude the rush"
    "We had put in game plan to get Lee into the game, but the game dictated we could not do that"

    More "Want and Desire talk" and a few "poise" sprinkled in

    Yeah, never quite understood why people bother with Les' presser. Nothing of substance is ever said. All just a bunch of sunshine-pumping horsesh!t.

    He doesn't owe us an apology. He doesn't owe us a damn thing in fact. Stop being a spoiled brat.

    As for "fixing the problem" it has already fixed itself. Addition by subtraction. We lose two crappy QBs and will go full steam ahead with a good one.

    No, this is a huge issue and will be a millstone around Miles neck through recruiting , spring football and the off season. He needs to put it behind him as soon as possible and that means talking about it and stopping the rumors, raucous speculation, and wild-ass guessing that will only snowball.

    Why validate baseless rumors with a response? The team got its ass kicked, that should not be a mystery, or even something Miles must address going forward.

    He already admitted the team was under prepared, and the scoreboard bore that out for all the world to see. I agree about putting it behind us ASAP. Can't we just burn that game tape and move on?

    I don't care about the baseless rumors. We need to know why he and his team were not prepared for the game and why he and his coaches did not make any adjustments, obvious or otherwise. This team did not just get beaten, it did not even show up. He needs to address the overt favoritism of Jefferson and the shameful treatment of Lee with something truthful or the fans will never let it go.
