I think he wants to work but being picky. Plus I am hearing he is tied up in some family issues at this time which is taking precedent.
He will get a shot next year...maybe I was a year short in predicting miles to Kentucky. UK has a history (rich Brooks) with taking an older coach and having success....maybe Vanderbilt will be an option, or if all hell breaks loose maybe an ole miss opens up
Hate to hear he is having family issues, I hope he gets that worked out. Being the man he is it's more important that he devote his energy to fixing what ever it is. He has always showed how important that part of his life is to him, and it should be for everyone. Wish him well!
Exactly...Miles knows he has a better shot when the next coaching carousel begins. I know LSU and attorneys are aware that he is stalling and keeping a close eye on it. Hence the reason I brought it up. He is playing it the right way. LSU is ok giving some leeway but doesn't want to be taken to the ringer either with these games.
Miles will land another HC gig after next season and it won't be some mid tier job. He'll land in the B1G or the SEC East.
If he gets any job in the B1G or the SEC it won't be as head coach. Will be as AD. Miles would make a good athletic director
