With all due respect, it is exceedingly obvious to me that you are pretty frickin blind. In any event, Miles isn't even close to being a good coach and most coaches in the country could and would do a better job than Miles.

The only reason Miles record is as good as it is, is because he was the luckiest man in college football. I mean who would have ever dreamed that just when Nick Saban had built LSU into what was the most talented football team in college football, that he would just up and walk away to go coach the Dolphins. I mean nobody but Nick Saban could and would do something so insane and so absurd.

Thus, when Skip Burton, who obviously was trying to get revenge for playing second fiddle to football all of his coaching career, gave the job to that bumbling nobody, Les Miles became the luckiest man in college football, since it was the first time ever in college football history when a coach was handed such a team that was so stocked up with talent as much as LSU had when Les Miles of all people was inexplicably awarded the LSU job.

Nevertheless, Miles’ record is good today, but it isn’t because he is a good coach, it’s because of what his predecessor did before he ever arrived and all of the talent he had the good fortune to fall in his lap. Not to mention that ever since Miles arrived at LSU, I have never seen LSU teams play with such consistent sloppiness and lack of discipline as I have seen since Miles became head coach, and I have also never repeatedly observed such piss poor sideline management in all my life. Not in peewee football and not in college football until I watched Les Miles.

In any event, let me ask you a simple question: If Les Miles had been hired in 2000 instead of Nick Saban, do you believe that LSU would have won mythical national championships in 2003 and 2007?

Hell, as for as I’m concerned, LSU won it in 2007 despite Miles and Saban was far more responsible for that championship than was Miles, and I also believe that had Saban stayed instead of leaving to go to the Dolphins, we would have a few more BCS trophies today in the trophy case.

Hell, in 2005 and 2006 LSU clearly had the most talented football teams in the country, yet because of Miles we blew it! And he blew it in 2007 too after choking to Kentucky and Arkansas. Until West Virginia did the unthinkable and lost to a Pittsburg team with a losing record and at the same time lost its shot to play in the national championship game. So LSU somehow backed its way into the national title game with 2 losses no less, and Les Miles, the most lucky man in the history of college football ever, like a cat with 9 lives, gets to play for the national championship.

Anyway, it’s obvious that Les Miles lucky streak, the biggest and longest lucky streak in college football history, is clearly starting to run out and his incompetence is clearly starting to catch up with him. The sooner LSU gets rid of that incompetent loser, the better off LSU will be.

Yes, but please explain how he turned around Oklahoma State. That program was a total turd when he took it over.

Hey Spike...I think Bertmann was too busy helping aliens as small as viruses that are living inside your brain take over the world to be concerned with getting revenge against the football program because the school tried to eliminate the baseball program...or whatever. :insane:.

I know the aliens controlling your brain waves are trying to distract us from discovering their evil plot to take over the planet..

(Don't let them know that we're on to them.)
    :hihi:.

I think alot of people overlook the alumni donations at Oklahoma St. There was more than 600 Million dollars that went into the Athletic program in Miles' first two season, thanks to a Life Insurance scheme by T Boone and his own personal donations. I know money doesn't win but it does talk to recruits (facilities, etc etc that is), I am not saying they paid them!

    Just a thought

P.S. The same donation was given to Texas at the same time from T Boone and I do not think it is by mistake Texas quickly went on the rise as well. Mr cocky himself, Mack Brown, has enjoyed that in the Athletic account and used it in the homes of many recruits.. If there is anything that is fact, it is that. I have heard that from more than 2 or 3 Texas players!

I guess our answer is to raise 500 million but we have better facilities already! so my idea sucks.

Wrong. It was $165 million pledged to OSU in 2006. Miles was long gone. Many facility plans were laid and started recently but they all ground to a halt in 2008 because Pickens did not relinquish control of the funds and kept it invested in his own hedge fund. When oil tanked last year, that $ went up in smoke. He has now had to add another $63 million to the original donation to get the amount back up.

Regardless of where they are now, when Miles was there, OSU averaged about $6-7 million/year in donations.
