For the most part I agree with you. I guess I am just trying to keep the faith that our program won't be stuck in 8-4 or 9-3 every year for the rest of Miles time here.
And I guess Pete Carroll proved how great he is at New England. You are a joke. Pull your head out of your (and LSU's) behind, and you might make some sense every now and then. Les Miles will never be able to hold the jock strap of an Urban Meyer or Nick Saban. They are on the incline/peak and we are on the decline.
I guess Miles beating both means nothing. I guess Miles taking Bama to OT last year and beating Bama this year for 3/4ths of the game before players got hurt means nothing. I guess LSU holding UF to 13 just like Bama did means nothing. I guess Miles winning a SEC Champ game means nothing. I guess Miles winning a NC means nothing.
Florida is about to go on the decline big time after Tebow and a slew of defensive players graduate...(er, I mean use up their eligibility.)
I don't think Florida will decline, though Tebow can't be touted as the greatest ever and then "the gators won't miss a step", so they won't be invincable. Florida has recruited well and Meyer is a good coach. I don't see Tenn and Georgia smashing them anytime soon. I think losing Harvin this year hurt them more than anything. On a side note - did LSU lose today? Is it just another opportunity for people to come out and tell us how bad we have it? Should I just not renew any of my season tickets until Saban dies or Meyer moves on? Let me know, 'cause it would be a huge savings...
I believe it when I see it. I think what will be interesting next year is Florida and also if this LSU football team is any better or will it be more of the same? Btw, It hardly matters what Florida does, they are in the east. We are in the west, that matters a little more.
Remember our conversation we had a while back? About CLM's winning with CNS's recruits? 1) What is CLM's record with his own recruits vs Saban's? 2) Do you feel the same way with Gerry Dinardo's tenure at LSU? What was his record with Curly Hullman's players versus his own?
My answer to your question is, anyone that honestly believes Miles has been winning with "saban's" recruits is a retarded rival fan....or just a retard.

Well just like last year, I am willing to pick up any more season tickets from those that know we are on the decline and that saban and meyer have declared their supremacy. I picked up another 4 this past year from a guy who thought the same thing...
