Very deserving and appropriate, methinks. A very 'quality' guy.

This team has been up and down up and down all year off the field. CLM has managed every situation like a pro! 12-0 record speaks for it self we beat the best and are playing for the crown! The cap is the best coach in football however with out Jefferson under center we don't go undefeated so props to him for pulling Lee B4 his meltdown and going for the gold! God bless CLM he is the best coach in football.

A well deserved award and he earned it. Looking at the schedule before the start of the season it was easy to say the Tigers would probably be favored in every one. Actually running the table with a schedule like that and the turmoil through the season is an impressive accomplishment. Now one more please!

    13-0

*And your constant desire to promote JJ and diss JLee is getting old. Can you just give the coach a compliment without your "agenda". Thanks.

*Oh yeah, I promised to not even read your posts again...got caught slippin...you are back on MUTE. Deuces...:rolleye33:

No he wouldn't. Bama had him flustered. If we don't move the ball with the option we DO NOT even get into field goal range. Lee was largely ineffective.

Well deserved honor for a great coach and a great man. His career has been marked with heavy doses of fan skepticism, second guessing, comparisons to coaches past, hurricanes, bad decisions, excessive loyalty, off field issues, team challenges, illness, and more while working for some of the toughest (and truly greatest) fans under one of the biggest spotlights in the country.

And all he has done is deliver a winner year in and year out. Took a good program and made it a great program that we can all be proud of for many reasons. It has been one of the best runs I can remember.

It's a damn fine time to be an LSU Tiger Fan.

    Thanks Coach and Congratulations!!

Congrats to coach Les Miles. He has done, far and away, the best coaching job in the country this year.

Great post. I agree 100%. You would not believe how many people wished he had gone to UM. Having coached at a much lower level of football, I knew he was an oustanding coach and a much better person. We couldn't have a better coach at this point in time at LSU. Just keep proving them wrong coach!
