Wait a second...you've got to be phucking joking!

You mean Brantley isn't better than JJ or JL? Where was he rated coming out of high school? What's his qb rating?

You mean not having Tebow taking the snaps actually has had a direct impact on the Won-Loss record? Did you mention that fact when we lost a senior leader in Matt Flynn? Or did you (not meant personally) mention the fact that Miles has gone 7-1 with some of the worst qb play anyone has seen at LSU in quite a while.

Miles' ability to run a college football program is equal to or better than anyone else immediately available. Maybe somebody will show up but he is the best we've got and he will be here for a while.

And I'm just curious, what explanation do you have for the fact that Richt is so beloved but his record is inferior to Miles? I find it absolutely baffling that such a blatant double standard goes unnoticed.

this is why you wouldn't make it as an AD.

you woulda fired him 5 years ago?
that woulda been after the '05 season.

his UGA record at that point.

    '01 - 8-4
    '02 - 13-1 SEC Champs
    '03 - 11-3 SEC East champs
    '04 - 10-2
    '05 - 10-3 SEC Champs

and you would have shyt canned him.

Just to be clear on my position, I am not suggesting that Georgia fire Richt. He could turn it around and I don't know that there are any better choices out there.

I hate to do this but just take a look at Tennessee or Ole Miss since they canned Fulmer and the guy before Orgeron. If you panic as a program it is almost never good.

Well yeah, i can see the future!

I was just trying to point out how horrible he is and he has done all he will do at UGA.

Yes, not having Tebow has a direct impact on this season. I'm sure you are joking by asking that question. Like him or not, Tebow is one of the best college football players to ever play. You can't expect not to struggle after losing a player like that.

And yes, LSU struggled after winning it in '07 cause we lost a lot of players and leadership that year. And that was to be expected. But last year was no better. Now in comparison to Florida, in Tebow's first year as starting QB they lost 5 games. They too lost a lot of players and leadership. But unlike LSU, they won the freaking national title the following season, as i pointed out in my first post. So like I said earlier, Meyer getting a "pass" is not even in question. Now if Florida struggles the next couple years with all their talent, then we can talk about him getting a "pass".

And as far as Richt goes, I guess you didn't read my first post. So I'll say again...Richt doesn't get a pass because he is a HORRIBLE coach. I don't do double standards, I call em like I see em.

I love how Miles backers always have to point to the falls of Richt, Brown, or someone else. Like that all of a sudden makes Miles appear better. No it doesnt. While I agree Richt is at the end of his line. Brown has Texas playing much more consistently than LSU. Sure they are down this year, but if we see three straight years of underachieving then we can talk.

Besides, I could careless about them. Miles is the coach for LSU, thats where my concerns lie. I could give a rats ass about UGA or Texas.

It is to offer perspective...and there's a bunch of LSU fans that could use a dose.
