I have always defended miles but after last game and seeing his defiance to go against his own judgment makes me sick also and I'm done defending him , he's a freaking tool. Its OK to let your best players play and win games for you. He has not coached this team to a meaningful win since the 2011 season.

Did he? Well if he did it still doesn't take away from the fact that we had a passing game.

It's a been disingenuous to say "every time." Yes, he provided a spark against Mississippi State that fell just a little short. But Jennings made the comeback against Wisconsin a whole four weeks ago. The next week, he threw 3 or 4 TD passes.

We need to stop hating on Jennings and loving on Harris. Harris may, in fact, have the better skills. And I think he should earn more playing time.

However, Harris did NOT need to put what he did on Twitter. Period.

I'm not a fan of the two QB system. Only Spurrier has done well with that. I do feel right now one has to set themselves apart going forward. I would like to see both get equal opportunity unless one really proves themselves.

I agree with you here. I do not see Harris getting more than his usual 2 or so series. Which will probably be like they usually are. Conservative run, conservative run. Third and long, then you try to pass.

I think AJ is better, with more potential than many here feel. He has throw some really beautiful passes. I do agree though that he must make better decisions. He must learn to throw a better short pass. All that said, it is difficult to have confidence when your coach shows time and time again that he has none in you. It is also next to impossible when you have no run game or pass blocking. It is a recipe for a QB, especially a young QB to fail.

As I mentioned before, Harris was helped by Miss St playing a sagging, prevent D. They were not trying to rush. Still, he looked very poised. He has an arm that is beyond special. He threw passes down the field that very few, even in the NFL could. Harris deserves a legit shot. We know Miles is too stubburn though.

Yeah, unless you want your football team to win at a percentage it has never won at before.

He will probably start at Rutgers next year when he is eligible.

No one uses a two-quarterback system unless neither has managed to separate himself. And neither have here, yet.

Les has already said that Harris will get more playing time and I think he will get it early and often. Les needs this settled before Auburn and one QB or the other has to earn it on the field. The New Mexico State game is going to be an all-out battle for the starting quarterback job, which is bad news for them . . . we could score 60 points. Les does not like to run it up, but he has to let these quarterbacks throw the ball and see what they can do.

Agreed. This is why we will play both quarterbacks until one of them takes charge. As thin as we are, we must have two experienced guys gong forward. Nothing but walk-ons behind them.

I support CLM against the negatigers for many obvious reasons but he does frustrate the hell out of me sometimes. One of those reasons is his personnel decisions, especially at quarterback. I try to trust in the coaches who evaluate these guys for hours every day but the product I see during games makes me question what the hell they are thinking, ie JJ and JL. I gotta bang my head against the wall sometimes. Nothing at all against Jennings. I think he is a very serviceable QB who has done a fine job for most of his snaps under center. I will support him and cheer for him anytime he is on the field. However, Brandon Harris is the guy with all the upside. The sky is the limit with this kid. Maybe he isn't 100 percent where AJ is as far as understanding the play book or making reads (though I see no evidence of the latter) but he won't get there riding the pine either. People keep saying that BH will eventually start this season, that the coaches will play the QB that gives us the best chance to win. I have no confidence in this at all ( see JJ and JL). I think CLM will stick with AJ come hell or high water, regardless of what BH brings to the team. We have already lost an SEC West game. If BH is the future what is there to lose? Give the ball to Harris, let the kid take his lumps. He'll make some mistakes but he'll make some great plays along with them and we might just surprise a few teams and make some noise in the West after all. I just don't believe the coaches are waiting for Harris to be ready. I think they have made him the perpetual backup to AJ as long as AJ is healthy and that just frustrates the hell out of me.
