It would take 2 really bad seasons or 3 bad seasons for Miles to be fired. Otherwise it isn't happening. Anyone who is objective can see that Miles isn't a smart gameday coach. The question is, are we witnessing the beginning of the slide? The issues on defense are greater than simply Chavis' soft, predictable scheme. Where is the talent at LB and defensive line? Chavis' main position was supposed to be linebacker and it's our weakest position. What Miles lacks in smarts he made up for with gutsy, aggressive calls when he first got here. Now LSU has neither gutsy, aggressive play-calling nor smarts and it shows.
And some were saying this is our best crop of LB's that LSU has ever had. HA! LSU hasn't had a real LB since Bradie
Last I checked, BJ has an NFL career that is more than all of them combined. I'm not saying none of them were good, just nothing to write home about. We will see about Minter but you can't tell me if you had to pick Bradie or one of the others you are not going to take Bradie every time?
Correct, but they have a head coach who can make coherent statements regarding game situations, adjustments, analysis, post game thoughts, etc.
