Anyone who can recruit as well or better. Not sure who that is. The coaching will balance out either way. Lose chavis but gain offense by losing miles. And clock management. And hopefully coherent pressers.
a few questions, what happens to Frank Wilson? Who does he hire for the defense? You are talking about a complete regime change, not just the head coach. It's not as easy as just saying Art Briles.
I would hope that Wilson Chavis and Moffitt would be retained unless better options would be available.
You have no way of dictating who your hc hires. That's why hiring a new hc is such a crapshoot. Cultures matter, ESP in the deep south, as does the fit of the staff and many other variables. Which is why many are reluctant to change even when shit isn't so great. At least you know what you have with les. A dufus who wins a good bit.
And I predict Briles is probably fielding a well-paid team. What else could possibly explain Baylor suddenly becoming relevant (I guess?) He doesn't play defense, either--and I think we can all agree we're missing that aspect of our team this year.
Always an excuse for les with accusations against those who do better. Baylor pitched a shutout til the final minutes while scoring 70 plus again. Doesn't matter whom as we can't shut out kent st.
Now, see. I was going to post something snarky like that--but I figured you'd bust me on that. Then, you turn around and say it.
