I don't think Les screwed up half as bad as the defense and Mettenberger. I mean really ... calling time out with 26 seconds, vs 6 wouldn't have made a hill of beans difference.

I just don't understand what happened to the across the middle routes that were working so well earlier in the season. All of the sudden, I feel like I"m watching JJ out there again, .. with that rediculous WR screen, out patterns, and long throws for the TD .. that got intercepted.

Yeah .. I know ... better comparison would have been to the Kindergarten kids, ... :) I"m a tad protective of my Kindergarten teachers .... there is NO football coach smarter than a Kindergarten Teacher.

It was a perfect storm of negatives last night. Just wasn't meant to be. I think the Florida game got us out of our offensive rhythm, and Mett tried to do too much last night, thus altering the game plan.

I think that is an accurate generalization.

I'm not sure what LSU team you have been watching this season, but I'll take my chances with the trio of Mettenberger/Beckham/Landry getting 40-45 yards in 28 seconds.

You realize that's just two pass plays? Clock stops to move the chains into place. That sort of thing.

173 yards passing in 21 minutes of play in the 2nd half. That's a 500 yard pace.

I don't think they could have done it with the game plan they were playing.

Love me some Mett/Beckham/Landry .. but they weren't playing the same game last night they were playing pre-Florida.

I'm going to play devils advocate right now out of curiosity I'm going to throw something out there. I'm sure I'll catch some flack but that would not be something new.
The question was presented yet again due to Leslie's deficiencies if not him who? Who could replace him and have equivalent success? I understand Les will not be sent packing anytime soon, and I know getting someone to replace him would be difficult in some aspects.
But what would you think about Art Briles from Baylor?
Please be considerate with your criticisms. And respond open minded.
