And you're not predicting the future in acting as though Les Miles will continue on indefinitely with that winning percentage?
He has for 8 frigging years. I'll put that up against your wild-ass guesses. Most of us can recognize the difference between winning and losing. Losers only see losers.
Beliema - Arkansas Freeze - Ole Miss Sumlin - A&M Malzahn - Auburn Saban - Alabama That's a pretty good set of coaches to beat. Florida will always be close to impossible to beat when playing at Gainesville. So that's something to deal with every other year. Les has won there exactly one time. And to this day I still don't know how we pulled it off. We've only had to deal with 2 strong teams within the West division at any one time, now we're potentially facing 5 tough opponents year in and year out.
there have been 14 other head coaches hired or fired in the SEC West alone since Les has taken over at LSU and only 1 has a winning record against Les, and 1 hasn't coached against him yet. But lets fire him, fuck it, because he may lose more games in the future. It's a wonder none of you are rich from the stock market.
that would be weed pipe, I don't drink. But my thoughts on Chavis are that he is a good coach but obviously there is a glaring deficiency with his schemes on 3rd down, and late in games. Unlike others here, I don't know what the answer is. I can admit when I don't know something. But at the same time, something needs to change with that aspect. Last 4 losses have come in the last minutes of the game with LSU leading. We have also given up 3rd and longs and sometimes 4th and longs in those final drives for the opposition.
Since this is the bash Miles (and Chavis) thread, I'll throw this little tidbit out there -- not only did Bama not have a turnover in their 52-0 thrashing of Arky, they also did not have any penalties. Not a single one. Those Saban boys are just perfect.
Oh you did it now, you are gonna make the ones who are dreaming of themselves running through a field of sunflowers in slow motion, straight into the embrace of Nick Saban, cry tomorrow when they read this.
