Others who are now saying the same about Les Miles realize that he will not be fired anytime soon. That's why they've said that they would emotionally detach themselves from LSU football until his departure. They realize that it will occur though.
I'm not seeing a drop off. Like MC was saying, some tough legitimate questions need to be asked, but this is still a top national program and will be for quite some time. I'd rather be right in the thick of things every year and never win a national championship than be a fucking Gump with a payroll and that fuck wad as a head coach.
Based on what you saw in the 2nd half, how many people think LSU would have gone down the field into FG range with 28 seconds left and no timeouts? I've already voted yes.
I don't think we would have done it, we couldn't against Georgia. But you don't know until you try and Les screwed the pooch on that one for sure.
I don't ever see 5-7 or even 6-6 seasons under Miles. Not that kind of dropoff. I do however see more 8-4 and 7-5 seasons, more often than 10-2 or 11-1. Beliema is a great coach, and will get that program turned around by 2015. If Sumlin stays on, A&M will always have a high powered offense and give people hell. Freeze is a solid coach at Ole Miss and they have actually recruited VERY WELL the last 2 years. Auburn is back on track. So actually I take that back. 6-6 seasons are a distinct possibility.
So I lick Les Miles balls because I don't want to kill the dog every time he shits on the rug. Interesting.
