I don't think that most that are backing Miles are missing the point. The Miles backers are just pointing out that the system is flawed and that Miles is not the bad guy here. As I said, the system is flawed, and lends itself to a lot of speculation and hedging by coaches. Coaches, more than likely use an average rate of attrition factor into their recruiting and signing decisions. If the attrition doesn't happen at the rate that the coaches anticipate then they get caught over signing, as is the case many times. Funny how we have a thread with major concern over the attrition that has gone on this past season. Where Miles is taking the brunt of criticism for the loss of some key players. Yet we have this thread that is criticizing him for over signing. Which is it, are we losing too many players through attrition, or are we not losing the amount that Miles and the coaches anticipate leading them to over sign.
Zach Lee cost Porter his LSU scholarship and cost LSU an offensive lineman by enrolling and then dropping out.
am i the only one who see's some really crappy luck here instead of boogeymen? when we brought in our signing class, we were not oversigned. a rule change three months later put us over the limit. the dodgers go waaaay above and beyond what they have ever paid to sign zl. talk about changing their ways at a bad time. as dude said in another thread, shyt happens. unfortunately a lot of shyt, some gambles by clm that he lost, some of it just freakin bad luck, has happened lately.
ah ok got it. UF alum. move on, nothing to see here. saying you're not biased = you will be providing reasons to make people think that way seriously, if the guy thinks Miles is a bad person then Meyer is hitler, osama, and jersey shore all rolled into one.
