Lloyd Carr was 9-4 in his last season at Michigan and had won over 75 % of his games, won a national championship in only his 3rd season there and was ultimately ousted because he couldn't beat Ohio State (was 1-6 in his last 7 meetings).
Another crazy similarity is Mack Brown. Brown won a championship in 05, played Bama for the championship 4 years later and lost and then lost his job 4 years after that. Same thing happening to Les Miles.
Who gives a shit, as long as he's gone and Alleva doesn't phuck it up. You'll have to excuse me, all this talk of Mullen being a legitimate candidate has me pissed off. If MOO U fans are ready to run you off YOU SUCK!!!!
And I don't want to see Chip Kelly come in either. Next thing you know he'll have us in 200 uni combos and running the flying tiger with our track team. No thx.
Right before that, John Cooper had an outstanding run at Ohio State in the 1990s. But he could never beat Michigan. He was 2-10-1 against the hated Wolverines, and many of those losses ruined a possible undefeated season.
