No, not the white sox. What? You didn't see his audition vid for the Bulls? It's because of those special shoes and short shorts.
Miles strikes me as a man that loves being a collegiate head coach. He seems to enjoy molding kids into quality young men. ...most of them anyways. He's got too much of a good thing here. Ask Spurrier and Saban if they would have done things differently when they left for the pros?
I think Miles knows there is nothing but problems when many of the "employees" make more money than the "boss" and can/will claim they work for the owner ONLY. They should just call this stuff the Saban Syndrome.
I also remember, after Saban had left the Dolphins, Jason Taylor said something in an interview about Saban trying to boss around these veteran players, etc. and that quite a few players were very vocal with him about how ridiculous he was. Those players viewed Saban as a "hothead" and a "joke".
This! I agree Miles would've left when Michigan came calling if he was going to leave. People need to stop trying to cause drama with fictitious "sources". Think about what kind of a man Miles is; really into his family and loves helping kids become good men. I don't think he is the kind of man that cares what anyone thinks and is very secure in his own skin so why would he feel that he needs to prove anything to himself or anyone else. Just look at his face when he ran onto the field before the Oregon game that was a man that looked content and really happy to be where he was. Why put himself through the stress of the NFL. I don't think college coaching is really a step down could every NFL coach switch to college and be the best in college? I don't think so
