If it must be done eventually, it must be done now. Fire Miles.

Gary Patterson, Brian Kelly, Chris Peterson on the short list.

Do not let the LSU program go into free-fall! :tigereye:

Les gets a break because Bo Pellini won a national championship a few years ago? What? He gets a pass because he did the only humane thing during Katrina? Please.

Our mistake was not letting Miles high tail it to Meechigan but his overblown ego and impulsive snap random decisions made him stay at LSU.

When he was hired at LSU, the OK State fans warned LSU, Miles is a soundbite, poor on field coach, isn't aggressive (smart aggressive not the gambler)and has a massive ego. They were right. It was also forewarned that he couldn't keep or manage elite assistant coaches. His ego is too big.

Fear the Hat? that's lame - the doofus is all about his image. I'd rather fear the defense than the coaches attire.

Does anybody recall Mile's very first venture into Tiger Stadium? He was wearing a single earpiece (like a Madonna headset earplug) and only a delusional ego would wear a earplug into Tiger Stadium. Our first clue that he didn't have a inkling about Tiger Stadium.

A couple years ago, a sideline camera was on Les Miles. You could see in the background Bo Pellini and several assistant coaches screaming and calling for a timeout. I counted 4 seconds before Miles saw them and then reacted. Miles was wrapped up in a non call rather than moving forward - dangerous for a head coach.

His on the field management is always behind and he's caught up in what happened - not for what is next. He can't plan - that was evident. He is always seconds behind the action.

It's a shame that LSU should have won that game and Miles clueless on the field antics lost us the game.

Miles cost LSU millions in bowl revenue by being in a fog - that ought to come out of his contract.

Can you picture his supporters at Michigan watching the end of the game followed by the post game interview?

I'm guessing that ship sailed last night.

Ya know...I don’t post much, but I watch you knee-jerk after most games this year and then later crawfish away from your original rants. But for you to continue with this “throwing JJ under the bus” crap is ridiculous.

As much as you like dissecting video...why not find the video from last night where Miles clearly states it's his fault by saying "it's all on me".

It's understandable if you've crossed some threshold and now have become a Miles-hater, but to continue justifying your position with the selective video clip is disingenuous.

If you’re going to cite video – don’t be so one-sided. Again – he’s on video saying it was his fault…why don’t you find that??

And finally, if you and all of the “quality posters” continue to spout off about how this is going to kill recruiting...then guess what… it just might actually kill recruiting.

The FACT is that, like him or hate him, we are going to have CLM for the rest of this season and next year also at the very least. So to continue to piss in the well does no good.

If thats your position then you find the video of him saying that and post it here to back up your statements..but that would mean alittle more work then posting 121 times in 6 years!

    Fair enough.

I'll try to find the clip and will post if I can. Would appreciate some help from some of the more fair-minded lurkers amongst us.

And as for equating someone's credibility to their post count...well, that's just weak.

I've been on this board as long as you have. Some people just seem to talk a lot more than others.

I did not say anything about your credibility....I stated that it would take more work then what you have provided to this board in the last 6 years...honestly I have no idea of anything you have ever posted so I am not one to base someones credibility on one post.

:geaux: Exactly. All of the sudden all of the single and double digit posters come out of the woodwork to spout off and beat their chest, holler and rant. They probably crashed the TD server with all the bullshyt they're posting over here.:nope: :LSU231:

Ok, I can't find a full-length version or transcript of the press conference video (yet) - but I did find an article about the incident that includes a quote from CLM's post game press conference.

He is quoted as saying: “It’s my fault that we didn’t finish first in that game.”

Sure...it's the understatement of the year. But at least he's manning up.
I suspect you will hear similar admissions of fault on Tuesday and CLM will say that he bears the blame for what happened.

And when he does so (again) you can continue to bash his crutch-time decision making, clock management, and coaching skill...but continuing to call him a coward and a liar will serve no purpose and will not be supportive of the LSU program.
