Agreed. Petrino and Briles are good coaches.with high power offenses but having to stomach them every week knowing their history and how pathetic they behaved. Plus BP is just a prick and a jerk. Kiffen doesn't deserve a HC job anywhere in the Power 5 yet. He was handed the keys to huge and storied programs and flamed out and those schools were so happy to get rid of him in 3 yrs. Why would we risk that?
Poor guy, he still has to figure out what to do with 2 inept QB's. This situation reminds me of Lee and Jefferson and I thought I'd never have to live through that again.
So what was the story last year as to why CLM wasn't let go then? Did LSU swing and miss on a HC hire so they had to keep CLM? Or did they really only consider firing him late in year with no plan in place.and word got out ? Man there are going to be so many rumors and "sources" putting names out there, it'll be fun to dream but I have a feeling chaos is going to ensue.
Booger is saying Les never liked the pocket passers-by and wanted dual threat. It just seems like CC and CLM don't fit as a staff. I think I would've been fine with CC staying. I think he wanted to be more creative but CLM kept him in a box. But may CC was a big part of problem. I'm not sure. I just really liked what CC did with Mets and am not convinced it was him.
Well Cam was the OC and the LSU offense has sucked ass under him. He rode the Les bus and had to crash with the Les bus.
I heard that too but wasn't sure that was the common belief. Looking at FSU recently I don't know if I'm glad that it didn't happen or not. I remember some pretty vanilla play calling when he was here but that may have been Saban.
