Les isn't my honey. My wife is. Regardless of the LSU coach, I'm an LSU fan. Like you claim, I only want what's best to happen to the program. You're correct about the talent not showing, nor being used to it's full potential. However, you're clearly incorrect about the downward spiral/slipping into mediocrity crap. You can call them stats if you want, but the FACT is that the evidence doesn't support your stance. That's what it is...factual evidence...irrefutible. You say the program is slipping, and I say the program won more games, played more competitively, and displayed more leadership on the field in the last two years than in 2008. Those are irrefutible facts, not just stats. Obviously, this year needs to play out for the absolute facts to be known, but unless you think we lose to ULM, it's a FACT that we will not slip beyond 2008 this season.
I'm on aircard right now, and don't have time to go search the forum. But I don't think there's any question that a great number on here and other LSU forums predicted a 7 win or worse season this year. LSU has gotten that in 8 games, with 4 to go. You don't want me to "stat you", well I will refute bullchit with facts however I can. If it takes stats, then I will use stats. Some of you guys stat me with the offensive ranking all the time, but I have never denied that or asked you not to use it in a debate. It is fact...the offense has been abysmal. However, the bottom line of any sports team/program comes down to this. The final score. The record. That's all that matters. Win or Lose. That's the only stat that counts. That's the only one I used.
love ur pun! and u r dead on target about that! i was telling a family member about surfing this board & how the posters were not near as angry or negative to other posters like they are on "that" board. people disagree, but that deoesn't make them stupid or idiots or worse.......
