Please don't even try to grasp on to any positive ray of hope. It might just make you feel good about the possibilities. You don't want to do that, because it is just absolutely better to always be looking for the negative.:rolleye33: :geaux:

People and their stats. The facts are LSU is a half a team and it will take the most they have to beat Bama.

Les's record against Saban 1-2. So what? Positive thinking is not going to help, LSU playing as a team will help. Unfortunately you have some incompetent coaching involved so the team is not only playing against Bama and Saban, they are playing against their own coaching staff.

We'll see. I expect a close game, if Bama scores 28 or more they win. Just my guess. LSU holds it to around 20 or so, chances improve. LSU has become the Baltimore Ravens of college football, not entertaining, just a bore and nightmare on offense to watch.

BTW the people that buy all those THE SECRET books are idiots.

Come on gang. Your defense is giving up 250 less total yards in the passing game. You have by far, many more sacks then Bama. Pressure is important.
It's true Bama's young D have 15 interceptions compared to LSU 8, but Les says it's your strength.
It's also true that your rushing defense is giving up about 250 total yards more then Crimson Tide, but you already have played Cam and his wrecking crew.
Not sure what to do with the big "red zone stat"
LSU: Allowed TD on 12 of 20 attempts for a 60% success rate for the opponent.
Alabama: Allowed TD on 7 of 23 attempts for a 30% success rate for the opponent.
Did I mention you have a very loud stadium?

So you don't like it if LSU wins by 1 or 100 ? From reading your posts its I wouldn't say you were a Negatiger, but a Sabanista. Regardless of who is LSU's coach and if you got your wish and Miles was let go, or left as long as Nickie is in Tuscaloosa, it'll just tear your heart out too much. No LSU coach can ever take his place nor be given a chance.

Life is too short, Bud. Just pull for Saban and the Tide and get over your Miles/LSU hate.

To be straight it isn’t so much pointing out the negatives, hell even us sunshine pumpers see the warts this team has. We know what is missing, just like those that are labeled negatigers. The problem is the constant hammering of the same points over and over and over and over from the same people, who never look to the possibility that there could be a ray of hope. The possibility that the overall body of work could prevail the failures. That the stats that do point to positives are just as important as the stats that point to the negatives. I/we understand and accept that things need to change, we get it and most of us have discussed it, we just chose not to only dwell on it. Life is too short to always be looking at the glass half empty to empty. Sometimes the glass has got to be half full to full in order to enjoy life.

All in all, Life as a Tiger Fan is not fun right now. But, we have to stick by them through thick and thin, pull your hair out, throw sh!t across the room, scream at your best buddy, but, next season put you a$$ right back in that seat and go out and support this team.

"This weekend marks Miles’ 16th opportunity to get a win after a loss. It’s a tough task – Alabama is also 7-1 and ranked ahead of LSU in every single poll out there. They are the defending national champions and have had LSU’s number for the last 2 years.
But LSU is at home; and at home, LSU is 8-0 following a loss under Miles. Outscoring opponents 36-16.
What about ranked opponents? Miles is 5-0 outscoring them 32-13.
True, LSU hasn’t had to face as tough as a task as Nick Saban and Alabama after a loss – but both teams have had bye weeks and the last time that happened Miles beat Nick and Bama 41-34.
Every analyst and “expert” out there will be predicting this to be loss #2 for Miles and the Tigers – and it very well may be. No one is doubting how tough Bama and Saban are to beat. But the records show that when Miles’ back is against the wall – he wins."

I, for one, like the fact we are being overlooked by most. It almost automatically predicts for a win by the Tigers!

I understand what you're saying, but minus the Florida game, it's been the same ol' same ol' in terms of piss poor offense and bs mistakes. JJ stalling drives due to sacks or turnovers, or hanging the D out to dry, the penalties, take your pick...
I'm willing to bet that regardless of the outcome of any game we play the second half this season, if we were consistent on offense, moved the ball and "looked" like an elite top 10 program, even in loss... alot of the negative stuff would stop. Unfortunately our coaching staff hasn't shown they have what it takes to improve this team, hence the same vanilla predictable game plan we see week in and week out and the constant bad mouthing from the "negatigers" as yall label them.

Speak for yourself. In other words, maybe "Life as a Tiger Fan is not fun right now...to me". Dammit, LSU and Aladambama are preparing for another epic battle of top tens in Tiger Stadium! WTF???
