I have no dog in this fight, so I won't even pretend that I do. I came across this article while killing time at the office and figured some of you may find it interesting, maybe even uplifting if you are having doubts about this weekend. May have already been posted, and if so, sorry about that. Good luck this weekend. http://deathvalleyobserver.com/http:/deathvalleyobserver.com/les-miles-after-a-loss/
I agree. I just found it interesting, and even though it does not state what the teams were during those wins, it does say "Miles is 5-0 outscoring them 32-13" when referring to going against ranked opponents after a loss.
Bodes well for us. Hope it continues, and can't think of a better opponent for it to continue with! :geauxtige
2005 miss st, #9 miami 2006 tulane, kentucky 2007 #18 AU 2008- south carolina, tulane, troy 2009- AU, La tech this is just after ranked teams beat LSU. take it for what it's worth.
If we can't find a way to break this losing streak against top 10 opponents, we may find ourselves back in field rushing mode pretty damn soon.
I'm all for making this stat 15-1 for LSU. Hope everyone else is, too. And to the OP, if we can't vie for the national championship this year, I hope you guys keep it in the SEC.
Only 25 out of 117 are ranked, so the odds are still looking pretty good considering the ratio of ranked:unranked opponents. Four of the unranked teams are conference opponents which are always tough games regardless of ranking.
