That's true. I have never been an Auburn fan. And by the way. I am not yet on home soil. But soon, I will begin the journey home.
I must agree, too early to go for two, the flow of that game seemed to have a lot more points to be put on the board.
First of all, great execution for LSU during the final drive which led to a TD. However, I still reserve my opinion on the decision of the final drive that we shouldn't score that TD as we had entered the 10 yard line. With that TD, we left Ole Miss with 44 seconds on the clock and the final chance to overturn the game. If we didn't make that 2points conversion after, it would have only been a 5 points lead, and Ole Miss still got the chance to win the game in regular time. Why not just took the knee at that moment and let the clock run to the final 5 seconds and had Jasper kick the field goal. Within the 10 yard line, the percentage of Jasper making that filed goal was bigger than 95%. Remember, Ole Miss didn't have timeout left and thus couldn't stop the clock. All I'm saying is this could have been a safer way to finish the game which they should consider. Either way, we won the game! Congratulations to Les and Seniors!
I believe that last drive was all runs. You can look good when the line is opening hole and the RB is running lights out. Just saying Miles was running some of the same plays that he has been hammer for in the past. That last drive was great. The line was blocking, it was something to watch. It just goes to show that when the team is exicuting the plays the coach looks a lot better. Miles is still the same great coach he has always been.
