...damn near perfect during the last 4 minutes of this game. He called the right plays, didn't score too early, and JJ did a great job eating up the clock.

In fact, I think LSU had all 3 time outs remaining when they scored that final TD.

Kudos to Les Miles, Jefferson, and the Tigers.

Congrats to JJ also. He played very well. Sorry our D didn't show up and our OL couldn't get us short yardage (don't really like the pitch back to the HB though).

    Well crap-damn!

I misspelled management in the thread title!

I usually check for typos, but I'm posting near blind tonight (without my reading glasses)...still no excuse.

I agree with this thread. It's all true.

I am very proud of JJ tonight.

The end of the game went well. Miles deserves praise when things go right just as he get criticised when things fail. Good Job.

Thank you, Privateer Lafitte. I've not seen you post in a few years.
Good to see that you're still around.

Great job in finishing and leaving Ole Miss with very little time after Ridley's game winning score. I have to admit I was still holding my breath a bit even with :40 or so seconds remaining...

Now THAT'S the Jean Lafitte posting style that I remember. It was a pleasure reading your stuff back in 03 and 04...and as I recall, you were not a fan of Auburn by any stretch. Glad to see you are back on Grand Terre.
