I hardly think Chizik is a washout............I also don't think you will see multiple games where time/play management is an issue like we get to do. Chizik went to Iowa State to get a HC job he had earned, he got the Auburn job because anyone that knows anything about football knows he is one very good coach.
Among other issues, the fact we have two QB's that are obvious recruiting busts, is ONLY the HC responsibilityLSU!
I agree about the possible coaching changes but I also worry about the Redemptorist OL that is being recruited by the current OL coach.....
Oh...well lets trade for the Florida coaching staff. Oh wait...they are 4-3, 2-3 and we are 7-1, 4-1 For the life of me I can't figure out why some are so livid about what we have. It could be a lot worse and THEN you would have something to complain about.
i don't know if i would go that far. i'm pretty sure curley hallman could look like a genius with Cam Newton. He has Gus Malzhan, and Cam. That's a win win situation. He is supposed to be a defensive guru, yet his defense sucks.
You gotta remember these are some of the same people that make the claim that this team wins 8 games just on talent, and despite of the coaching. REALLY, 8 wins just on talent alone????? That is one of the most idiotic statements I have ever heard, and anyone who makes it doesn't know squat about sports or in particular SEC football. The talent pool throughout the SEC is pretty close, some have a little deeper rosters, but the top notch starters are pretty close. There isn't a team in the SEC that could win 8 games on talent alone. What those that make that statement fail to take into consideration is that they are saying that the perceived great coaches out there are only can coach talent to 2-4 more wins. Really, a great coach is only good for 2-4 more wins over the talent alone at LSU. Man we must have NFL level talent at every position to pull that off. Not potential NFL level talent, I mean already playing in and trained in the NFL level talent, because that is what it would take in order to win 8 games on talent alone. It takes coaching and talent to win, period. It takes really good coaching and talent to win 10/season yr in and yr out. It takes really good coaching, talent, and a little bit of luck to win more than that. I'm not saying Miles is perfect, or that he is the best coach, just that talent alone doesn't win the amount of games we do, nor does it compete at the level we do in the losses we have had.
A servant can not serve two masters. The same can be said about our leadership at qb. The qb is the leader of the offense. If an offense has no leader it has no identity. Without a leader for the team to follow and rally behind there can be no unit cohesion. It is the coaches that have to name the qb and then it's that qb that must lead the team. The failure of the coaches to appoint either jj or jl has upset the balance of this offense. Until they are prepared to stick with one qb there will be no meaningful offense production. This is where miles has failed and will continue to fail until a true leader is found. I feel jl must be that leader and until that happens this offense will suffer
seems like every game we as LSU fans think "this is gonna be the game we find a passing attack" starting to feel like Auburn fans waiting on a national championship.
 Or Georgia fans for that matter. It's been 30 years for the Dawgs now, and it's their only one. Kind of easier to stomach your team failing when they are trying to get BACK to the championship game, and not trying to just get there in the first place.
