Besides our apparent problem with Crowton's obvious offense and a washed up Chavis, the most glaring evidence of how far we sunk is the disengaged Les Fudd and how far he is is from reality as in his post game interview.

Erin Andrews specifically asked Fudd, what was he thinking during NC's last drive.

Les Fudd responded that he was thinking about the onsides kick call and how wrong that was...etc.....soundbite....etc...e ba dee....e ba dee...e ba...dee.... shhhh....i'm hunting wabbits....that's all folks...have a nice day....

Meauxron Fudd overlooked the fact that the onsides kick call, regardless of whether it was right or not - was negated when we recovered the fumble and had the ball back on offense.

As typical, Les Fudd was behind the real time game and wrapped up in an insignificant DEAD issue when he should have been focused on the game at hand. However, we can't fault him because he's incapable of doing that.

It was the same with Ole Miss last year. Kentucky. We got lucky with Auburn a few years ago and his reckless and eratic coaching decisions. We got flat out coached again and it's getting to be a common theme over the past two years.

It's no wonder that OK State fans were happy to see him go and is it a surprise to LSU fans that Fudd is never mentioned as a candidate for any head coaching vacancies.

And thanks to Kurt Herbstreet, instead of Miles leaving to Michigan as he was going to do, we lost Bo Pellini and got stuck with Les Fudd.

:geaux: Just curious, but have you ever posted a positive comment on this forum? If you have, I don't recall seeing one. Or maybe it was just a long, long time ago. :LSU231:

lol so you're happy with 8 wins a year even though you're last in the SEC?

At this point, I'm joking about the Fudd thing. Lighten up.

:geaux: Never said that, but it doesn't do much good to bitch, piss, moan, whine & shyt in your clothes constantly. Especially after the first game of the season, which was a "W" even though ugly. As I said in another post, after the meltdown after a win it's frighening to think what would have gone on had LSU lost. :LSU231:

Point is we were gifted that win last night. Had we played the starting Tarheels defense (last years 6th overall), we wouldn't have moved the ball minus PPs punt return. We'd be 0-1.
