They have all have college degrees now so they have a head start on most who don't in many professions. The workplace is fierce competition now, why shouldn't they struggle like anyone else entering the work force at the bottom of the ladder? LSU made a lot of money off of me too (and all the rest of us that paid tuition, purchased books, etc.), I don't expect anything special from them other than the education that I earned and paid for. At least they got theirs for free. Hopefully they'll apply themselves in the real world of grownups now and succeed in life as much as they did in football.
I do believe they should get a little spending money but don't believe they should be paid much. I always forget exactly what the players get. I think Spurrier had it right though.
