About a week ago the LA Times reported the LWashington was going to enroll in summer school at SC and play for SC/coach Floyd this fall.

Today an article on the Indiana Scout site says he's not committed to SC and is considering Indiana, SC, LSU and Memphis. He's originally from Lake Charles, La.

Have you guys heard anything on the BB front regarding him? It's been like mini soap opera with him. He commits to SC, doesn't qualify, looks around for another school, he finally gets qualified the supposedly re-commits to SC then he says today he's not committed.

    IndianaU Scout premium article.

If I remember correctly, this was a talented dual sport guy, about a top 70 kind of BBall recruit who would play PF/SF. But, due to academics and other "character" issues, our guys kind of shied away from him (that never stops Floyd).

He's supposed to be an athletic talent but probably a "tweener" (bigger SF, but smaller PF). Although given our depth and youth, I say it's intriguing and we should look into it--especially given CTJ's the new cheese. But, it comes down to whether Miles and CTJ like this guy... At SF/PF there's some depth Leonard would have to contend with, Tasmin, Johnson, Warren and Graham.

Never seen the kid play in hoops, although I'm not about to tell a top 100 recruit from LA no, unless there's a good reason.
