I told her to edit/erase shit before deleting but she doesn't listen. I can't be mad though, I love the way she irons and folds my clothes.
Actually, it was a result of knowing what pervs reside here....too many things that can be twisted. Look here coonass.....stop using so much starch on my skirts. I know you like when the wind blows but it's getting ridiculous.
Y'all should try the simple 3rd world socialist sports like soccer and running. I get my daughter new soccer cleats about every 4 months. The only problem now is the ones she likes are made of kangaroo leather and wouldn't you know....CA is the only state in the union that has a ban on kangaroo leather imports so I can't buy them here or even have them shipped to a CA zip. Her track cleats are expensive but she only wears them for about 14 seconds or around 1 minute so they last. My son goes through running shoes every couple months. Still, somewhat minimal costs.
What about if I bought them and shipped them directly to you? No way they'd know, right? Serious offer if you want. You can send me a money order or whatever.
It seems like every activity here in North Texas is expensive. The soccer players are on all of those travel teams and select teams, as are the baseball and softball players. Middle and high school band are even expensive. Dance is certainly expensive, and now that my sophomore is on drill team (dance team/kick line, VERY Texas--even down to the boots and cowboy hats that are part of the uniforms--but very cute, of course), drill team is crazy expensive.
I appreciate it. We were up in Washington last month for a tournament and bought a couple pairs. I also have a connection in Arizona. It's such a stupid law. The facking kangaroos are dead and are going to be no matter what. I did try to buy a pair in Georgia. You should have seen the looks on the employee's faces when I asked for a pair of soccer cleats. Very true. My daughter played both travel soccer and softball but she hung up the softball cleats a year ago. Thank God. It does get expensive with flights, hotels, rental cars, meals tourney and ref fees. High school is interesting. The fee for playing soccer is $350 for the season but of course it's not mandatory. It's against CA law to make it mandatory. The fee covers 1 tournament and ref fees, and basically what amounts to a uniform rental. They don't keep the uni, only the 2 pairs of socks, lol. Track is only $150 but they keep sweat pants, practice T, running shorts (which are REALLY short), and 2 uniform tops. Still, it's nothing compared to cheer and flag and drill. I know the cheerleaders are required to buy 5 outfits at the cost of over $300/per. I also know they each get a rhinestone decorated bar-size stool to sit on at games.....with their names on it. Crazy.
Spare me, the Texas band has the most ridiculous uniforms of anything I have ever seen. That isn't cute. Funny sort of.
It's the Texas BRAND she's apparently taking a liking to that broke my heart. "here in North Texas," who the hell gives that kind of embarrassing information out? "VERY Texas," OMG. Ibet she's stood in front of the mirror, shaking her fingers while saying, "Hook 'em Horns." We've lost our little Cajun Girl shane.
