I literally flew back from London yesterday (was there on a week long workshop). The dominant sports stories were the cricket World cup, The English ladies soccer team going up against ours, and Wimbledon starting. I saw one lone story on the BBC that this MLB game was happening and none of the roughly 200 people in our London office made a peep about baseball.
Yet the attendance for Saturday's game was over 59,000. Still, baseball has as much chance of becoming a major sport in England as soccer does here.
This morning Hanigrif said that 70% of the tickets were bought by English and other Europeans and 30% by Americans.
I'll let BB be the judge of that. If he's offended then I will apologize to HIM, not you, you fucking asshole.
