I got beat up out here for saying how bad he sucked last year. Les isn't going to pull the plug, he is on target for a 8-10 win season.

Watching Jefferson at QB is like sitting in traffic and having the sudden urge to crap on yourself by the time you get home you sit on the toilet just to have a rabbit pellet fall out if not just a fart. Frustration!!!

What kind of makes me sad now. Is I thought at the beginning of the year, that LSU would need 1-2 more years for some of the younger players to develop no matter who the OC was. I don't feel that way right now, these kids can play, I like players we have and I think under different coaching they could have made a push this year.

Well, at least JL playing will force the removal of the cute ****. And it will force defenses to unload the box. Not because they fear JL, but because they like their odds at getting a defensive TD. Hopefully if JL gets a shot he makes the most of it. If you play QB, you're bound to throw a pick 6 at some point. Let's just hope that if he gets a shot he's not a pick 6 machine. I think a guy with his arm is better for the talent we have at receiver if for no other reason than it eliminates the option and the designed QB runs and forces the ball into their hands even more. JJ has way more designed runs through two games than TT has balls thrown his way. Might be more than TT and RR combined. That's a travesty. Cut the cute **** and hit somebody in the mouth. Throw the football effectively. I have a want to see Crowton ****canned and his little playbook too.

I just find it hard to believe that some top flight QB prospect isn't looking how full the cupboard is at LSU (with more on the way) and isn't itching for a chance to get take advantage. I mean these guys would rather risk a career on the pine at Notre Dame or Bama than play QB for LSU. Why is that?

SIU, I get you. But dude, did you see ANYTHING positive tonight from the offense? You're saying LSU won't break the top 100 in offense this year, and I bet you wind up being wrong about that. We had a RB go over 100, and several young RBs got playing time. Blue is special. Despite what you will say, this ISN'T a typical JJ game. This is his worst game ever. I don't think for a minute that JJ is a 300 yd/game QB. But I do think he's capable of 180-200, and throw in 150-160 yds rushing/game, we'll be alright. We have a really good front seven, especially with Baker's return...and Chavis is using them right. A YOUNG secondary except for Peterson, but they were in position all night. It was Vandy, but they were in position no matter who it was. I paid close attn to that aspect tonight just to see, because last week, they were NOT in position very much. Mathieu is special, too.
    ---
Les Miles coached LSU teams almost NEVER beat the spread on the road, and the more than doubled it tonight...thanks to IN GAME ADJUSTMENTS and FINISHING THE GAME STRONG. (Not yelling at you...just extremely happy to see both of those things) LSU is 2-0...not 1-1 or 0-2. But you've given up on the season already, per your last sentence. Come on, man!

I pulled this from my post on another thread....

Yes, I'm also of the opinion that JL needs multiple snaps in each game; even though it is generally disruptive--even counterintuitive--to alternate QB's, JL needs to have HIS game face on for every game; he needs to be spooled up to take over due to injury/performance concerns. That means he needs snaps, to stay frosty!

Upside of QB subs is how our opponents' D's will have to adjust to different QB styles & cadences--at a moment's notice!

Something I hope TPTB think about!
