OK...I'll stop. Just trying to say, you make some good points, but you beat them to death...and then tell us all how you predicted everything last year or the year before. We all know what you said last year...you've been telling us for a year about how you told us about it last year. Some of the things you said last year, I agree with. Some I don't. But believe me...I KNOW you said it last year.
Lee needs to start now before it is too late. He is a much better QB. Get over his freshman year. There was a reason he got the shot over Jefferson in the first place. Jefferson aka Aaron Brooks has started long enough.
And this. Extreme exaggeration. You just said the same thing to Red, but didn't bother to accept his challenge and go find one post where he said what you said he said. - I have supported JJ. I thought he would be better this year. I know this, though. Tonight, he sucked. People saying the receivers dropped balls...he didn't throw the ball where they could've done anything with it anyway. - When Lee came into the game, with LSU near the goal line, I didn't think they'd let him throw. But his first play was a throw, and it was on target in stride. Maybe it's good that it was his only throw. Maybe he can have that in his mind when he takes the field next, and it will serve to provide confidence. He definitely has to better tool set. I don't think his one throw crowns him the starter, but I hope it serves to propel him. I do think...and always have thought that the offense would move better with him. But I fear the pick 6. If JJ could move the offense just enough, and the defense continues to play well, we could win 10 games this year. Just not sure if he can. But if JL could get it together and keep the picks to a BARE minimun, I'm certain this offense could click. - And I have always agreed with you about Crowton...at least since late '08.
Because most of the delusional fans keep flip-flopping like fish. There is no difference between this year or 2009 or 2008. It's a coach putting players in awful positions. You don't see me flip flopping on that. Talking about QB change isn't really going to help long-term without major coaching changes. Lee if you get a new OC, if you keep Crowton, it doesn't really matter.
I told him in so many words I was mistaken when I said he was probably one of the few ones not attempting to beat me up on this forum. Lee has the ability to throw in this league, however I doubt it will really matter without drastic changes.
Well, we ain't gonna make a coaching change mid-season, but a QB change is possible. ...that's what this thread is about anyway. Feel free to start a Crowton Sucks thread and fire away at more predictions. Not trying to be rude....just sayin
