I'm expecting Ridley, KW, Shep, and Holliday to split about 45 carries.

If they are successful, Lee will throw for over 200 yards just because of the Defense respecting the running game.

you did watch the game saturday, right? :hihi: all kidding aside, lee didn't really tear it up like i thought he could. but to be fair, jefferson was having trouble against that bama defense too. i think we'll run the ball a lot and probably won't see shepard at all in this game (CLM probably won't risk another injury to a QB.)

Their game against Boise could either inspire them with the "look how close we came to shocking the nation" or deflate them to "same old same old" attitude. If it is the close choice, they may come into TS determined. They could be thinking about how long ago it was that they had a victory at LSU and how much respect they would get from the Tech fans if they pulled it off. I see it as "could" be interesting. But I still say..............:geaux:

If this O-line protects Lee, you will see much more accurate passes than what we have seen from Jefferson all year long. The kid has an arm.

But once the protection breaks down you will be holding your breath each and every time. I hope he has learned to throw the ball away by now.

i think Jefferson is more accurate than Lee is. Lee is terribly inconsistent, and has been his whole career, but when he is on he can be deadly, unfortunately he is more inconsistent than he is accurate. He has thrown some really accurate long balls, but i have seen him at times be way off. The upside with Lee is the big arm, the quick release. The downside is the protection of the ball, and absolutely no wheels. I wish the kid luck, and i hope he leads the Tigers to a great victory tomorow night, and who knows, maybe we see Shep throw it a few times too.

This... i'm hoping to see RS still get his carries and see if he can break another one. I think he'll help open the passing game if he gets a lot of touches. Maybe use him in some screens or pitches from JL. And who knows... using RS like a harvin type might help boost JLs confidence.

Like it or not it looks like the guy is going to be the starting QB this week. The back up is always one play away from being the starter. The least you can do as a supposed Tiger fan is act like an adult and support him. Pick his performance apart after the game if it makes you happy but at least support him going in.
