Perhaps not. You have to be ineligible to play the spring semester to be ineligible to play in the post-season, right? Players still have the winter intersession courses to get their grades up before the spring semester.

I hadn't thought about the winter intersession. But I don't know if eligibility is determined by semester GPA, cumulative, or some combination of both.
