I like the fire I see when Lee comes in the game. I've never seen a quarterback try to pump up the crowd like he does. It's almost Tebow-esque in a way. Jefferson, on the other hand, looks like a whiped pup. I see no passion or fire. And that "who farted" look on his face after a bad play drives me freakin banannas.

Jordon jefferson is miles lil pet and I have lost tons of faith in miles. I was a miles pumper ,not as bad as some though, all of the years he has coached here. I f'in hate to watch Jefferson butcher this offense. He is the reason our offense is the laughing stock of the country. Weather it's his fumbles , his interceptions , badly thrown balls, the penalties that come from the frustration of players watching him f up , or sacks he takes it's 90% his fault. If lee played qb all year we may not be last in offense. Some will say how could we know. Just look who won the last three games. Who drives this team. I am as frustrated as it gets. Sit Jefferson embrace lee and get some respect back for our tigers. Lee makes us look like champs jj makes us look like chumps

I think GC gets that title. JJ is just a player who has not been given what he needs to succees for whatever reason. Maybe JJ is a better WR, maybe he's a great QB but hasn't been polished... either way it's GCs job to get these kids ready, and/or play the ones best suited to win... and it's obvious he hasn't done it... GCs record has followed him to LSU as evidence by his last several stops before us, and our offesne output the last 2 seasons prior to this one.

This type of reasoning is beyond reason. Playing time? Pep talk? Lesson on what to do when play/game clock is running down? What has he not been given to have a chance to succeed. Some have IT some dont. Nobody to blame, nobodys fault. It is what it is.

It's the person who makes the choice to send him out there as the starters fault

So not sending him out as the starter provides him the chance to succeed? Start JL and play the 2nd series then put JJ in? Will that help him?

Sorry ....... the thread is Lee having the "eye". Agree totally. I call the "who farted" look the SCOWL. JJ has been given his chance and will continue, no matter what we say, to get his chances. And I personally wish him all the best of luck.

that "scowl" is the result of a totally self-centered player. that is JJ's main problem, and it is why he cannot lead the offense. he's not in it for the offense, he's in it for himself.

don't think the other players don't pick up on it.

Lee's going to make a few more big mistakes - he may even cost LSU a football game at some point. But Lee gives LSU the chance to score and convert on 3rd and long. And he's MUCH better, even with only half the pt, than he was in 2008.

And I think he's reaping the benefits of his competitive and self-assured attitude. He stuck it out, he generally has fan admiration for not giving up. It's his moment - do or die. Maybe this game will show us all why Jefferson is still playing? Maybe he'll do something fantastic and the 2 QB system will befuddle Auburn's defense?

I don't know. To me, the 2 QB system against Auburn just makes it more obvious when LSU is going to go pass-heavy...
