he's projected to be a top 10 pick. would you turn down $35-40M if someone told you i'd be best to stay?
NO! People usually criticize these athletes for turning pro before their senior season, but the object of going to college is to get a good paying job. 35Million a year IS a pretty good paying job.
For an all expense paid trip to Holly Beach (insect repellant included), what is Sherman's connection to LSU ? (I know I'm probably lobbing you a softball) ldskule:
Probably not, but Aaron Rogers and Brady Quinn (better QBs imo) were assured top 10 as well. It's not guaranteed. Sam Bradford, on the other hand... I would imagine someone possibly taking him higher than he should be taken. He's going pro. <--- link
Yes, to both questions. I wonder if we can expect a sternly-worded letter from UGA's president about this?
Actually before the war he was named the first superintendant of Louisiana State Seminary and Military Academy at Pineville, which later relocated to Baton Rouge and became LSU. He was also an engineering professor. Holly Beach is in Cameron parish just to the west of Cameron. The community was all but demolished in 2005 by Hurrcane Rita. I'm sure the storm this year also took its toll. Here is a before and after to the same stretch of beach following Rita:
I wouldn't have known where Holly Beach was at all, but I'm reading Tupelo Nights by John Ed Bradley, and his book's main character takes hunting and fishing trips down there.
