    We are never going to have a good president until this country eliminates campaign contributions from corporations and unions.

    I don't think limiting free speech is going to produce better candidates.

    so you think it is a good thing that corporations can pump millions of dollars into someone's campaign? Maybe we can go down the list of politicians who get contributions from BP and have see what we can do to get those people elected.

    But Obama is different. he is going to bring new politics to DC. He is going to do what's best for us in spite of our wishes. Not because he gets paid like every other politician, but because he is Obama. :hihi:

    Outlawing private companies from having the same freedom of speech we have is not a solution. Doesn't matter if It's Joe Bob's Bait shop or Ford. Holding candidates accountable for what they take is the solution, and that means opening your eyes instead of parroting the party line.

    Why should a company have the same rights citizens have? That goes for Unions too. Influencing elections with money isn't a good thing.
