Actually, I think it's sad. The kid has a chance to play at a good school, and if this is true, he screwed it up a second time. I would've thought he would have learned from his mistake the first time. This morning it was rumored that he was contacting the LSU staff wanting his scholly back, so maybe this thing has legs. But according to this rumor, USC is contacting him, and it's a dead period. I don't think USC would be contacting him, though. If any contact has indeed been made, he made it.
I never thought Luther would play for Saban... And Luther was definitely contacting the LSU coaches seeing if he could still get on board with us. There is also word that he commited to Louisiana Tech during his official there.
How does the dead period work? I thought I remember seeing something where head coaches were prohibited from contact at one point but assistant coaches were able to contact recruits. Does anyone know the rules?
