Sam Olajubutu was pretty good in the middle recently at Arkansas and he was listed at 5'9, I think.

Just sayin'. If he's legit 4.37 then you can put him somewhere

that is pretty short for a linebacker though. I dunno.

He's not even quite 5'8 - more like 5' 7.5 according to Scout which they measured him to be at an event.

You remember what Bum Phillips said about the short LB he drafted for the Saints, when asked by the sportswriters if Bum was concerned about his lack of height, Bum said "Nope. Hell, we ain't draftin the kid to Jump Center!".

The two of them led Tucker to it's first-ever State Title (4A).

The AJC named Jonathan Davis the 4A Defensive Player of the Year

Davis was the AAA Player of the Year as a Sophmore at St. Pius High School. They were state runner-ups that year. He transferred to Tucker High School and led the Tigers to the AAAA semi-finals in 2007 and the State Championship in 2008. 2007 he was the AAAA Defensive Player of the year as a Jr. In 2008, he was the AAAA Player of the Year. He has been the best player in the State of Georgia for the past three seasons -- regardless of Scout or Rivals rankings. He had grade questions early, but it appears that he will now be a qualifier. If he was 6' 2" he would be one of the 5 highest rated players in the country. He is one of the 10 best football players I have seen in the past 10 years in the state of Georgia. I don't know what the future holds for him, but whatever school he attends is going to get and unbelievable player. He makes every tackle on defense. I'm not sure where he will play, but he can with anyone.

Yes I remember watching the Championship game last month...Davis was all over the field, making plays in the backfield. He looked super fast.

:geaux: Wouldn't hurt my feelings to have another Sam Mills play for LSU. If he wants to come and can play, why not take him. Sounds like he has proven he can play based on previous posts. If we have room in the class I'd take a chance on him. Would hate to be talking about "what might have been" in 3 or 4 years. Main thing I guess is if we even have room for him in the first place. :LSU231:
