At least Robert Woods won't be playing as well. Gonna be tough, unless we can limit Gurley, this is going to be another 34-31 game.
Need to bring some heat on Goff, too. If they let him be comfortable in the pocket he will pick what's left of our cornerbacks apart.
it should be...the saints have played mostly low scoring teams except for last week and they gave up 31
No Klein, Okafor, Lattimore, or Crowley. Vacarro and Armstead questionable. Too many injuries to key people, especially on defense. I hope I'm wrong, but the streak probably ends at 8.
You're probably right. I think I saw where Klein will play, so that's a positive. Vaccaro, too. I thought the Saints would try to pick someone up in Okafor's absence, but didn't see any movement this week. Will be tough sledding against LARs formidable offense. On the other side of the ball, however, the Rams run defense is terrible, so perhaps we can clock hog w/our run game and keep our fractured defense off of the field. That might be our best defense.
I haven't followed them, other than to know their record and that they're also leading their division. I thought their D was the strength of the team, but I may be thinking back to when they were still in St. Louis.
And the one spot we have probably the best depth is for Okafor, with both Hendrickson and Kihaha taking over. So not nearly as dire as it seems on defense. I think if Woods were healthy, I'd be singing a different tune.
Kikaha is primarily a pass rusher, while Hendrickson is much better against the run. So its going to be a matter of the staff anticipating what the offense will do and have the right player in the game. Since he was drafted last year, I've always thought Onyemata looks more like an end then a tackle. I wonder if they've ever looked at him outside?
