Oh yeah. I'm sure practice ain't to "happy" for them today. Nick didn't throw one of his fits in the PC after the game and mainly because he played alot of the true freshmen this game. A lot of the 08 recruiting class that didn't play in the Clemson game played in the Tulane game. Or it damned sure seem that way. But none of them play on the OL so I don't buy that as a part of the excuse. If we win more than eight games I'll personally (and I'm not joking) send you two bottles of beer, your choice of brand. I'll be that happy. If they don't it won't cost your a thing. Win/Win for you. Save this post and remind me at season's end. I'm good for it. :thumb:

I put a lot of the blame on McElwain for last week's performance. The RB's still did relatively well but it seemed every time they had a nice run he would go to shotgun and pass. I am sure he was working on some things but it was obvioous the pass protection weas not going to be getting better during the game. The team did struggle but it was never a close game so I bet he was trying some stuff.

You're right the game was never in question. The defense (for playing that many frosh.) did quite well. I guess you could pass some blame on the OC for not sticking to what was working but either way the players didn't execute. If it was against a SEC team or BCS conference team then I wouldn't be so let down in the OL.

But either way something upstairs better start clicking with the guys up front or we're going to be another notch on the belt of a directional school. We do play Arkansas St for homecoming and they did just put 80 pts on a team and I think they beat Texas A&M in week one.

Well, I think everyone knows, except the polls, that Bama is not a number 11 team. Yes, I like to see us ranked, but #11? I think they are hoping we stay undefeated for the Georgia game so they can hype it. A team dropping with an off week is not unusual. I mean face it, early polls are terrible anyway. The only thing that amzaed me was the ND wasn't in the top 5 and already scheduled for a BCS game.
