On Sirius he said he texted Marvin Austin and Marvin Austin told him JM is chosing USC. I would definitely take this with a grain of salt.

Re: Official 2007 NSD thread Good luck to him, but lets face it we have some fantastic soph RBs (Williams, Scott) let alone several other top players. Plus the WR core is looking stellar. Would have loved to land him, but by noon tomorrow none of us will really care, if this is true he is not an LSU tiger so the interest in him locally will go from all the press to none. I wish him great success. Cannot win them all (Assuming its true)

OK, sorry. The producer on Rivals radio (I forget his name) came on and said that he talked to Marvin Austin this morning and Marvin Austin said that Joe McKnight texted him (MA) and said he is going to USC. Again, they reiterated that it is unconfirmed. I say don't believe the hype.
