Maybe one of these years we will put together an offense and defense that seems to be on par with each other. We have maybe the best WR combo in the history of LSU football in Landry and Beckham.These two guys are unreal. They rarely drop anything near them. It helps when you have a QB like Mett who is becoming comfortable in the system. Add to that our offense is really coming on and it's going to be a special year offensively. We have lived on defense for most of the last 10 years. Add to that a pretty good offense for about half of those 10 years. This year the NFL took too much for us to recover. There is no shortage of talent only a shortage of experience. Here's to hoping the defense can grow up enough this week.
Hell, just give me Minter, Simon, and Logan for added DLine depth and this team would be unstoppable. Or trade Simon for Reid because I like what Tre White is bringing.
