Last Year was an Anomaly

    I can’t understand how Jones hasn’t fixed the defense a little. The offense needs work, and is hamstrung by Johnson’s ceiling, but the defense is the same as last year. No improvement. It’s almost impossible to have two defensive coordinators in a row that are this bad at preparing the players. That’s the real head scratcher to me.

    There were other programs that had as many out for Covid last season.
    There are other programs that have lost players, and coaches, during an off-season.

    While 2020 had a lot hit LSU, calling it an anamoly doesn't fit. I mentioned earlier, season or program? 2020 seems more indicative to the program's health than it does external factors (though both are related, a program's health overcomes external factors.)

    Im afraid it wasn’t. Last year was Ed Orgeron finally off his leash running the program his way from one side of the ball to the other.
