Just off the top of my head, football coaches who have been brought down (or seriously embarrassed) by a preoccupation with puss: Urban Meyer, Mike Price, Bobby Petrino, Hugh Freeze, Ed O.

Not a great list to be a member of. I see what you mean about the Mets GM; she must be able to suck start a leaf blower or have something else going for her.
I think my favorite is Petrino if for no other reason than the picture just shouts 'Loser'.

 

Imagine agreeing to a press conference looking like that.

 

I know. And if you know his history of slimy behavior; like quitting the Falcons in the middle of the season and notified the team by taping a note on the players lockers 24 hours after promising he was staying; OR sneaking behind his friend Tommy Tubberville's back and secretly interviewing for his job; and there are more stories. It just always feels good for an asshole like this to get his comeuppance through his own stupidity.

Reminds me of something a wise man once told me when remarking on a guy that left his wife of 18 years for his secretary:

"I can understand wanting her, but...wanting to keep her?"
