Brandon Stokley won the #3 WR (slot) job for the Ravens after signing with them only a few weeks ago. Is this the last time we'll ever see a 37 year old white WR with no significant height or speed in the NFL?

I grew up playing against him and thought he was overrated (i.e got attention because of his dad). Guess I was wrong.

I think you'll continue to see players who have proven that they can just get the job done keep their jobs a long time, regardless of their age, height, speed, or race.

If he sucked, he'd have been cut and never gotten another chance. He's still got NFL skills so he will stay on a roster until he doesn't.

Do Welker or Amendola count? Probably not because they're somewhat fast, I guess

    Who is his dad?

Nelson Stokely. Believe he QB'd LSU in the 60's and became USL's head coach later.
